This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and manage onsite construction as an integrated and collaborative team.
• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of assigned projects.
• Handle field responsibilities on medium to complex projects and/or multiple smaller project teams concurrently.
• Work with the Project Manager to develop and uphold project schedules.
• Conduct jobsite introductions and training for new hires; delegate tasks.
• Perform employee evaluations for direct reports.
• Offer technical support during project bidding alongside the estimating team.
• Uphold quality-control standards and file Non-Conformance Reports for deficiencies.
• Assist with purchasing take-offs and project consumables.
• Review preliminary and contractual project documents.
• Attend hand-off and project close-out meetings.
• Implement safety policies, site-specific safety plans, MSAs, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
• Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules and document as well as communicate any delays.
• Identify opportunities for schedule acceleration and obtain necessary approvals.
• Manage project deliveries, logistics, staging, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure proper installation of equipment.
• Utilize mobile applications, email, and current technology to monitor and disseminate project information.
• Update and submit daily logs, time sheets, receiving reports, welding reports, testing reports, as-built drawings, and other project documentation.
• Aid the Project Manager with job-cost updates and monthly billing.
• Lead weekly meetings with foremen and subcontractors.
• Monitor the progress and performance of foremen and subcontractors.
• Ensure jobsites are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
• Proven experience and a successful track record as a Senior Superintendent in construction for a trade that Mullins self-performs or in a comparable role.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and health regulations for construction jobsites.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction operations and processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capable of professional communication.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
