This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead and manage tax compliance across multiple European countries, encompassing VAT, WHT, DST, and local submissions.
• Oversee external advisors and BPO providers to guarantee timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Keep track of regulatory developments and evaluate their implications for the business, ensuring proactive adherence.
• Assist in audits and tax inquiries, managing associated risks and ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate tax implementations associated with new country expansions, product launches, and restructuring efforts.
• Work closely with Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Business teams on both operational and commercial projects.
• Promote scalable tax processes and automation, partnering with Financial Systems and global tax teams.
• Aid in market entry and essential business initiatives throughout Europe.

• A business-focused tax professional with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in taxation, preferably within multinational settings.
• Possess strong expertise in European VAT and multi-country tax compliance frameworks.
• A collaborative partner with a proven track record of working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Business teams.
• A proactive problem-solver capable of navigating complex regulatory landscapes and driving effective solutions.
• A strategic thinker with experience in supporting business growth, market expansion, and operational initiatives.
• Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
• A self-starter who excels in fast-paced, international environments and enjoys establishing scalable processes.
• Familiarity or prior experience in wellness, technology, SaaS, or marketplace companies is a significant plus.
