Senior Manager – Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and support of a collaborative team of software engineers to meet objectives.

• Direct the architecture of cloud-native, distributed microservices utilizing Kotlin Spring Boot and event-driven methodologies.

• Work together with product and design teams to enhance impactful clinical workflows.

• Promote high code quality through automated processes and thorough peer code reviews.

• Advocate for standard clinical data practices by employing modern FHIR and HL7 interoperability frameworks.

• Nurture a committed team culture centered on psychological safety, innovation, and ongoing development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in guiding engineering teams and overseeing technical software delivery processes.

• Strong background in developing distributed backend systems operating within contemporary cloud environments.

• Practical knowledge of JVM-based languages such as Kotlin or Java and cloud architecture.

• Profound dedication to fostering a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere focused on learning.

• Proven history of employing automated CI/CD practices and collaborative version control systems.

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR, HL7, or Epic integrations (preferred).

• Familiarity with event-driven software architecture patterns using Kafka or MongoDB tools (preferred).

• Experience in managing blob storage and orchestrating data flows at an enterprise level (preferred).
