This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the enterprise process leader and subject-matter expert in government property management during the SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Convert FAR, DFARS, customer contract, and internal policy requirements into effective business processes, system controls, reporting capabilities, and functional requirements.
• Establish standardized processes for the entire government property lifecycle, encompassing acquisition, receipt, identification, record creation, movement, storage, utilization, maintenance, physical inventory, subcontractor control, loss reporting, and disposition.
• Merge government property requirements with procurement, receiving, warehousing, inventory management, production, maintenance, finance, asset accounting, project management, and contract management processes.
• Relay project status, regulatory considerations, key decisions, risks, and business impacts to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings with business-unit property organizations and functional stakeholders to capture requirements, identify common processes, address gaps, and formulate enterprise-level design decisions.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and implementation teams to assess system capabilities, make fit-to-standard choices, and design compliant solutions.
• Create business scenarios and acceptance criteria while leading functional, integration, user acceptance, and validation testing.
• Spearhead change-management initiatives, supporting procedures, training materials, communications, and adoption plans.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 7 years of experience, or if lacking a degree, 14 years of applicable experience.
• Experience in managing or supporting government property in a government contractor, defense, aerospace, or similarly regulated context.
• Familiarity with government property requirements, including relevant FAR and DFARS regulations, contractual obligations, property management controls, and audit expectations.
• Proven experience in supporting ERP implementations, system transformations, process standardization initiatives, or other substantial business transformations.
• Proficient with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Cognitus, or another enterprise property or asset management system.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; only U.S. citizens may access information under this program/contract.
• Experience operating within an established RTX SAP environment is preferred.
• National Property Management Association certifications are favored, such as Certified Professional Property Specialist, Certified Professional Property Administrator, or Certified Professional Property Manager.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
