Senior Manager, Professional Services – Custom Development, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of custom development and AI consultants while serving as a player-coach.

• Directly contribute to significant customer projects.

• Take ownership of delivery and quality for the Custom Development and AI technical practices.

• Supervise custom integrations, scripting, and solutions developed using Egnyte’s APIs, Python, and React.

• Advise customers on MCP server integrations, agentic AI architecture, and custom prompt design.

• Interact with customers during pre-sales architecture reviews and throughout the entire engagement lifecycle.

• Comprehend customer needs and shape effective solution designs.

• Remain informed about foundational models, agentic frameworks, and evolving MCP standards.

• Convert AI advancements into actionable insights for both customers and the team.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to pinpoint expansion opportunities and ensure the realization of customer value.

• Develop and document best practices, delivery frameworks, and reusable solution patterns.

• Evaluate and guide customers on architecture patterns that complement Egnyte’s platform.

• Monitor team performance and oversee resource planning.

• Guarantee that projects are delivered punctually and maintain a high standard of quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of overall professional experience.

• Minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing Technology Consulting or Professional Services position.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI technologies.

• Familiarity with large language models, agentic AI frameworks, and prompt engineering methodologies.

• Proficient in MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations and agentic AI architectures.

• Capability to advise customers and construct operational MCP and agentic AI solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Python and React.

• Experience utilizing REST APIs for custom integrations, automation scripts, and lightweight front-end solutions.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

• Demonstrated experience in people management, including hiring, developing, and retaining technical teams.

• Solid understanding of data privacy, security, and governance related to AI and custom development solutions.

• Experience working with large enterprises, mid-market, and SMB accounts.

• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
