This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of major donor stewardship interactions and process management.
• Manage CEO and executive leadership stewardship communications and acknowledgments.
• Organize the review, approval, tracking, and submission of donor correspondence.
• Compile and assess major donor outreach mailing/email lists, ensuring quality control and handling opt-in/opt-out reviews.
• Monitor stewardship deliverables and deadlines.
• Coordinate the production and distribution of impact reports, milestone recognitions, and follow-ups for events.
• Guide the planning and execution of the major donor reporting program along with the reporting calendar.
• Oversee the adoption and performance of the video messaging platform, including managing calendars, distribution lists, and staff training.
• Collaborate with the Philanthropy team to align donor interests with organizational priorities through internal communications.
• Manage stewardship communications and resources within Donor Engagement systems and Salesforce.
• Enhance CRM systems and processes to support frontline staff and major donors effectively.
• Utilize Salesforce and video messaging platform analytics to identify trends and refine stewardship strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date constituent records, donor preferences, and communications within the CRM.
• Spot and escalate data quality concerns with the Data Insights and IT teams.
• Ensure stewardship initiatives facilitate analysis, planning, and reporting.
• Act as a strategic thought partner across Donor Engagement, Philanthropy, Executive Operations, and Mission.
• Involve senior and executive leaders in complex donor strategies.
• Manage sensitive donor relationships and cross-functional communications with accountability and discretion.
• Assist in reporting on the progress and effectiveness of stewardship initiatives.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in donor stewardship, fundraising operations, or major gifts within a nonprofit organization.
• Experience in supporting a major gift fundraising team.
• Strong knowledge of donor engagement and stewardship best practices.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Experience in maintaining CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and in tracking donor activities and preferences.
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Comfort in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Occasional travel is required, approximately twice a year.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in nonprofit management, communications, or fundraising is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Canva or other design tools is a plus.
