Senior Manager, Information Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Leading and guiding a team of threat intelligence analysts and security researchers.

• Establishing research priorities and intelligence strategies that align with Akamai's security mission.

• Fostering collaboration across security operations, product engineering, and executive leadership.

• Converting complex threat intelligence into actionable insights for customers, product teams, and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 5-7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in threat research and a leadership capacity.

• Profound understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence, including threat actor analysis, OSINT collection and analysis, and Intelligence lifecycle management.

• Technical proficiency in network protocols, internet-scale architectures, web applications & API security, DDoS mitigation, bot management, and access control.
