This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

• Drive Project Outcomes: Embrace an ownership mentality to oversee the complete delivery process for new security certifications, federal authorizations, and compliance initiatives.

• Accelerate Execution: Serve as a force multiplier by actively identifying and resolving project obstacles, minimizing friction, and sustaining high operational velocity.

• Orchestrate Cross-Functional Decision Making: Manage intricate technical and compliance trade-offs, fostering consensus among Engineering, IT, Product, and Security teams.

• Optimize Delivery Methodologies: Persistently enhance project frameworks to maximize efficiency, ensuring that security initiatives are thorough and adaptable.

• Precision Program Management: Supervise project lifecycles—including significant milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation—while delivering executive-level visibility through precise status updates.

• Build Strategic Partnerships: Establish strong, collaborative relationships with Security Assurance Team subject matter experts and technical stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with the capability to access and operate within a SCIF environment.

• Must be based in, or willing to move to, the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

• 7+ years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree) in security and technical program/project management.

• Proven track record in leading high-stakes security compliance initiatives (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD IL5/IL6, NIST 800-53, CMMC, PCI, HIPAA) from conception to authorization or market.

• Experience managing projects with complex technical dependencies, multiple stakeholders, and competing constraints across geographically distributed teams.

• Ability to influence and communicate effectively across various levels, from in-depth technical discussions with engineers to high-level briefings for senior leadership and government stakeholders.

• A demonstrated ability to swiftly master new processes, methodologies, technologies, and security frameworks to adapt to changing business demands.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for converting complex project data into clear, actionable insights and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• Experience supporting U.S. Government, Defense, Intelligence Community, or other highly regulated environments is highly preferred.
