This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop, oversee, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across government entities, regulatory organizations, industry associations, think tanks, and academic institutions.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for external stakeholders, ensuring consistent and credible communication on behalf of the organization.
• Identify and foster strategic partnerships that support the organization's policy objectives.
• Lead the organization's interactions with government officials, ministries, and regulatory agencies, acting as the primary contact for official consultations and policy discussions.
• Prepare and deliver policy briefs, position documents, consultation responses, and talking points for leadership engagements.
• Monitor and assess legislative and regulatory changes; convert these into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for internal teams.
• Serve as the operational liaison with the industry association and contribute to collaborative advocacy initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with legal, compliance, product, and business teams to ensure regulatory preparedness and policy-informed decision-making.
• Anticipate emerging regulatory challenges and formulate proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external advisors, consultants, and law firms on policy strategy as necessary.
• 8 - 10 years of experience in public policy, government relations, or regulatory strategy.
• Established and robust relationships with key stakeholders in line ministries such as MoF, MoHA, regulators (RBI, SEBI, FIU), and departments that can be leveraged.
• Demonstrated success in advancing policy objectives through networking, collaboration with stakeholders, and coalition-building.
• Proven experience in engaging with senior government officials, policymakers, and industry leaders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — ability to craft persuasive position papers, policy briefs, and communications for stakeholders.
• Resourceful, with strong strategic thinking capabilities, political insight, and the ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments.
• Postgraduate degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
