This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the nonprofit content strategy within the Global Go To Market organization, working closely with the Events and Communications teams.
• Create and uphold the editorial perspective and content coverage standards.
• Stay informed on cultural and industry trends, adding GoFundMe’s voice to pertinent discussions.
• Ensure alignment of the content strategy with product launches, campaign priorities, and overarching marketing objectives.
• Manage the complete content calendar, striking a balance between thought leadership and content linked to the sales pipeline, while tracking performance metrics.
• Craft and refine high-profile content, including flagship pieces and cornerstone articles.
• Establish editorial quality standards through content reviews and enhancement of team outputs.
• Lead and develop a team of writers by providing structure, creative guidance, and mentorship.
• Construct content team processes and infrastructure, such as briefing templates, editorial workflows, review cycles, and contributor relationships.
• Monitor organic traffic, engagement, pipeline impact, and audience growth.
• Utilize performance insights to fine-tune content strategy and differentiate between distribution challenges and content quality issues.
• Develop channel strategies that include publishing, content repurposing, and expanding reach.
• Over 10 years of experience in B2B content creation.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position or senior editorial capacity.
• A portfolio showcasing thought leadership, long-form content, and pieces that exhibit a clear and unique voice.
• Demonstrated experience in building or significantly expanding a content function.
• Strong inclination toward data analysis and a clear understanding of content terminology.
• Excellent editorial instincts.
• Ability to provide direct, specific, and actionable feedback.
• Proficient in performance analysis and a history of utilizing insights to guide editorial choices.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals.
• Experience in content distribution.
