This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the hands-on calculation, validation, and reporting of commissions, including operational tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with leaders in Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Partnerships to assess and modify compensation plans.
• Provide guidance on the design of compensation plans, including accelerator gates, multiplier structures, and payout mechanics.
• Develop commission structures for significant deals in the range of $4M to $5M+.
• Assist in lowering the commission pay rate from around 50% of net new bookings to a benchmark of 20–25%.
• Oversee global commission plans encompassing approximately five plan types across various regions.
• Mentor and nurture the growth of the Senior Financial Analyst.
• Engage in discussions regarding the design and strategy of the FY28 compensation plan.
• Create scalable processes, documentation, controls, and infrastructure to support the growth of the commission function.
• Act as a backup capable of managing the entire commission function from start to finish.
• Proven experience managing commissions within a high-growth software company, ideally supporting a sales force of 300–400+ representatives.
• Demonstrated expertise in commission design, including accelerator structures, plan optimization, and payout economics.
• Experience in structuring commissions for significant deals and other complex, large transactions.
• Proficiency in commission management and administration tools is essential.
• Familiarity with EverStage is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to engage in peer-level discussions with Sales and Finance leadership regarding compensation strategy.
• Experience managing global compensation programs across multiple plan types and regions is a plus.
