This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of hands-on commission calculation, validation, and reporting, including operational tasks as needed.
β’ Collaborate with leaders in Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Partnerships to assess and modify compensation plans.
β’ Provide guidance on compensation plan design, including accelerator gates, multiplier structures, and payout mechanics.
β’ Offer data-driven recommendations during leadership discussions.
β’ Manage commission structuring for significant deals in the range of $4M to $5M+.
β’ Assist in lowering the commission pay rate from approximately 50% of net new bookings to a benchmark of 20β25%.
β’ Oversee global commission plans across roughly five plan types and various regions.
β’ Mentor and nurture the Senior Financial Analyst toward assuming a management role.
β’ Engage in discussions regarding compensation plan design and strategy.
β’ Develop scalable processes, documentation, controls, and infrastructure for the commission function.
β’ Act as a backup capable of managing the commission function from start to finish.
β’ Proven experience managing commissions at a high-growth software company, ideally supporting a sales team of 300β400+ representatives.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in commission design, including accelerator structures, plan optimization, and payout economics.
β’ Experience in structuring commissions for significant deals and other complex, large transactions.
β’ Required experience with commission management and administration tools.
β’ EverStage experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround and precision.
β’ Strong executive presence is essential.
β’ Capacity to engage in peer-level conversations with Sales and Finance leadership regarding compensation strategy.
β’ Experience in managing global compensation programs across multiple plan types and geographic locations is a plus.
