📋 Description

• Act as a strategic finance partner to commercial, operational, and business leaders, aiding in the assessment of growth opportunities, investment choices, business performance, and significant trade-offs across both cash-pay and insurance-covered sectors of the organization.

• Take ownership of and enhance planning and forecasting for critical business areas, including revenue, acquisition, retention, pricing, insurance mix, reimbursement, unit economics, marketing efficiency, margin, and other fundamental business drivers.

• Develop and maintain driver-based financial models that facilitate forecasting, scenario planning, resource allocation, business cases, and long-term strategic planning.

• Evaluate actual performance against forecasts/budgets, pinpoint the main drivers of variance, and convert findings into clear implications and actionable recommendations.

• Create business cases for new initiatives, products, pricing modifications, partnerships, payer/channel opportunities, marketing investments, bundles, or other commercial prospects, detailing financial impacts, key assumptions, sensitivities, risks, and decision points.

• Collaborate with business leaders to grasp the underlying economics of their areas, including input metrics, output metrics, operational drivers, and how business activities translate into revenue, margin, cash collection, and the P&L.

• Assist in analyzing insurance-related business drivers, such as payer mix, reimbursement rates, session economics, utilization, provider supply, claims performance, denial/rejection trends, collections, DSO, and revenue realization.

• Develop KPI reporting and performance management tools that assist leaders in understanding business health, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.

• Simplify large datasets and complex analyses into clear narratives, charts, and recommendations that comprehensively address the “what, why, so what, and now what.”

• Collaborate effectively with Revenue Cycle, Operations, Data Science, Analytics, Accounting, and broader FP&A teams to ensure financial analysis is precise, consistent, and based on trustworthy data and metric definitions.

• Identify areas for improvement in models, reporting, processes, and decision-making tools, focusing on scalability, accuracy, and business value.

• Promote financial discipline throughout monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, ensuring clear targets, accountability, ownership, and visibility into risks and opportunities.

• Support ad hoc strategic initiatives and executive analyses that guide company-wide decisions.
