Senior Manager, Clinical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the planning, coordination, oversight, and execution of complex global clinical trials across one or more therapeutic areas.

• Collaborate in a global context, leveraging best practices and insights into internal and external business challenges to enhance processes, standards, and services.

• Responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring protocol-related activities throughout the project lifecycle to ensure targets are achieved within timelines, budget, and quality expectations.

• Lead cross-functional teams and oversee the management of CROs and vendors.

• Understand the varying requirements of regulatory agencies concerning clinical packages and appropriately manage different functions (e.g., CSR, TFLs, ISS, etc.).

• Ensure readiness for inspections.

• Accountable for CAPAs related to clinical programs within Clinical Operations.

• Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, accruals, and forecasting contributions.

• Prepare clinical program updates and contribute to them as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences (graduate degree), such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals preferred, or relevant medical background.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical research within the industry, including at least 5 years in clinical trial management.

• Strong understanding of GxP and global regulatory requirements.

• Exceptional project management skills.

• Excellent communication abilities and adeptness at managing cross-functional teams.

• Capacity to navigate complex situations and foster solution-oriented thinking.

• Proficiency in English.

• Strong team player, capable of performing under high pressure and demonstrating significant resilience.

• Experience in working within international and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to present and advocate for perspectives effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
