This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Deliver strong, independent leadership for designated clinical projects, ensuring effective execution.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Supervise study management tasks, including site selection, initiation, monitoring, and closeout.
• Create and uphold study timelines, budgets, and project plans while ensuring compliance with scope.
• Identify risks and proactively tackle challenges to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Handle vendor relationships and study-specific contracts.
• Offer mentorship and direction to junior project team members.
• Assist in proposal development, bid defense meetings, and initiatives for business growth.
• Engage in both internal and external project team meetings to guarantee alignment and success.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a scientific or related discipline.
• Prior experience working on clinical projects within an academic, CRO, or pharmaceutical company setting.
• Experience in Renal is essential.
• Relevant work experience suitable for this position includes approximately seven (7) years in the industry. A minimum of two (2) years of Project Management experience within the CRO sector is required.
• Previous experience as a CRA, in site management, trial coordination, or other pertinent industry experience is preferred.
• Experience managing single or multiple regions, working across various therapeutic indications, and managing full-service studies from early to late phases of clinical trials is advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of, and capability to implement project activities in compliance with, ICH/GCP and all applicable regulations and guidelines in the relevant areas.
• Previous experience with client-facing interactions and/or client management.
• Project finance management experience, preferably within a CRO environment.
