This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Supervise care management for high-acuity, long-term care members
• Create and evaluate high-quality, cost-effective healthcare outcomes
• Direct care management teams in addressing member and provider needs throughout the care management process
• Provide direction and manage necessary long-term care management documentation for compliance with regulations and contracts
• Review policies and procedures, presenting findings to senior leadership
• Oversee work assignments and caseloads in accordance with state regulations, staff experience, and member requirements
• Manage and monitor team goals and objectives
• Collaborate medical service functions with other departmental operations
• Engage in significant or special projects
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and present suggestions to senior leadership
• Analyze and review member data to detect trends and enhance operational performance and quality of care
• Educate and equip long-term care management leaders with resources on key initiatives and member outreach
• Mentor and guide the team to enhance member and provider experiences and ensure high-quality care
• Oversee and coordinate training for team members
• Support strategies for onboarding, hiring, and training new staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Adhere to all policies and standards
• Applicants must be residents of the state of Kansas
• A bachelor's degree is required
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Previous management experience is essential
• Experience in leading larger teams in a dynamic environment is highly preferred
• Knowledge, responsibilities, and skills commensurate with the position level, or equivalent experience gained through relevant achievements
• Capability to oversee long-term care management for high-acuity members
• Ability to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations and contractual obligations
• Proficient in managing team assignments, caseloads, goals, and objectives
• Skill in analyzing member data to identify trends
• Competent in coordinating onboarding, hiring, and training processes
