Senior Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop operational strategies, performance expectations, and long-term goals that align with business priorities.

• Promote the standardization of logistics processes, systems, and performance management practices across various areas.

• Collaborate with senior operations leadership to create scalable solutions that support organizational growth.

• Advocate for the use of technology, automation, and analytics to enhance productivity, minimize operational friction, and improve experiences for both customers and employees.

• Ensure uniformity in leadership practices, coaching methodologies, and performance management standards throughout assigned areas.

• Direct cross-functional teams in the design, implementation, and scaling of enterprise logistics solutions and business transformation projects.

• Provide strategic guidance for multiple logistics operations and oversee the managers responsible for their execution.

• Cultivate and mentor future logistics leaders.

• Spearhead enterprise-wide initiatives and identify opportunities to boost service, productivity, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.

• Be prepared to travel frequently to support operations, develop leaders, and ensure consistency across locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (from an accredited institution) or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

• High School Diploma or GED (from an accredited institution) along with four years of relevant work experience.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in the waste, environmental services, energy, or transportation sectors.

• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience, in addition to the educational requirements.

• Capacity to establish operational strategy, performance expectations, and long-term objectives.

• Proven experience in standardizing logistics processes, systems, and performance management practices across multiple areas.

• Track record of developing scalable operational solutions.

• Familiarity with leveraging technology, automation, and analytics to enhance productivity and improve customer and employee experiences.

• Experience with leadership practices, coaching methodologies, and performance management standards.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage enterprise logistics or business transformation initiatives.

• Willingness to travel significantly as needed.

• Capability to perform repetitive motions and demonstrate coordination between eye, hand, and foot.

• Ability to sit, talk, and hear effectively.
