This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute deep learning frameworks for 3D volumetric medical imaging modalities such as CT, PET, and MRI.
• Construct survival models that accommodate censored outcomes, competing risks, and the statistical intricacies of time-to-event forecasting.
• Enhance training processes to effectively manage large-scale imaging datasets utilizing cloud GPU resources.
• Collaborate with our machine learning team to establish optimal practices and advance the field.
• Contribute to scholarly publications and share results at academic conferences.
• Over 7 years of experience in machine learning, with a significant focus on computer vision or medical imaging.
• A PhD in machine learning, computer vision, statistics, or a related discipline is preferred; however, an exceptional track record in the industry will also be considered.
• In-depth knowledge of 3D vision, with experience in volumetric architectures (such as 3D CNNs and Vision Transformers for 3D data).
• Strong grounding in survival analysis and time-to-event modeling techniques (including Cox models, deep survival models, and competing risks).
• Demonstrated capability to efficiently train large models at scale, with an understanding of distributed training, memory optimization, and the requirements for rapid iteration on large datasets.
• Proficient in PyTorch and contemporary machine learning frameworks.
• A proven history of influential research, including publications, deployed systems, or equivalent displays of technical expertise.
