Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Search Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Enhance the e-commerce experience for users by developing systems that support relevance for global retailers.

• Emphasize relevance assessment and quality enhancements.

• Implement LLM-based evaluation, training the model to comprehend query intent and represent items from disorganized catalog data.

• Conduct reranking, filtering, and signal computation to ensure real-time quality in production environments.

• Establish automated quality monitoring and insightful analytics to identify performance declines and detect underperforming patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in deploying production ML systems.

• Proficiency in search, information retrieval, or recommendation systems.

• Practical experience with fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and scaling LLM deployments.

• Strong skills in Python and PyTorch; proficiency in SQL and data orchestration tools such as Spark and Airflow.

• Experience in designing and executing A/B tests to assess model effectiveness.

• Exceptional English communication abilities.

• Proven experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams (ranking, product, data engineering).
