Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Personalization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deliver agentic systems that facilitate personalized listening experiences.

• Create and sustain pipelines for the extraction, organization, and delivery of cultural signals at scale.

• Collaborate closely with teams across Personalization to integrate essential cultural data and technology.

• Take ownership of components from start to finish — including data pipelines, model training, production serving, and monitoring.

• Create and implement evaluation tools and conduct experiments to assess the influence of cultural context signals on user experience.

• Assist in defining the technical direction of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models from start to finish.

• Strong proficiency in Python (knowledge of Java and Scala is a bonus).

• Practical experience with large language models and agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pydantic).

• Experience in building and deploying production-scale, data-driven AI/ML systems, preferably in areas such as content understanding, knowledge graphs, NLP, MIR, or related fields.

• Capable of operating as a 0-to-1 builder.
