This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• **What You'll Do**

• - Establish and guide the technical vision for machine learning solutions across various products and platforms

• - Take ownership of the complete software development lifecycle — from design and code evaluations to deployment and ongoing operations

• - Design high-performance, scalable microservices, encompassing both synchronous and asynchronous web services

• - Develop real-time inference pipelines for intricate models utilizing Triton, TensorRT, and mixed-precision computing

• - Provide mentorship to engineers, set the technical direction, and cultivate a robust team culture

• - Advocate for engineering excellence, system resilience, and continuous operational enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• **Required Qualifications**

• - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline

• - 5–10 years of comprehensive experience in the full software development lifecycle (design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations)

• - 5–10 years of expertise in Python, including advanced features and libraries

• - Strong background in designing RESTful APIs (e.g., FastAPI)

• - Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

• - Over 3 years of experience in designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• - Demonstrated experience as a tech lead or engineering mentor

• **Preferred Qualifications**

• - Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Machine Learning

• - Practical experience with ML frameworks: PyTorch, SageMaker, Triton, or TensorRT

• - Familiarity with NoSQL and document databases

• - Proven track record in managing big data, optimizing workflows, and enhancing system performance
