This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in AI/ML development, specializing in the architecture of deep learning systems and complex model pipelines.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Demonstrated success in transforming groundbreaking AI research into commercial-grade deep learning models.

• Extensive knowledge of neural network architectures, such as transformer architecture, computer vision, natural language processing, and multimodal learning.

• Experience in optimizing and fine-tuning models for high-performance inference at scale.

• Advanced skills in PyTorch or TensorFlow, including the implementation and adaptation of cutting-edge research papers.

• Proficient in Python, with experience in machine learning libraries and frameworks like scikit-learn and XGBoost.

• Familiarity with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark and cloud computing platforms like Google Cloud Platform is preferred.

• Experience in designing and maintaining production ML systems at scale, encompassing workflow orchestration, artifact versioning, online/offline evaluation, performance monitoring, and A/B testing.

• Strong foundation in statistical modeling and predictive analytics for recommender systems and propensity scoring.

• Strategic comprehension of the AI model lifecycle from discovery and experimentation to production deployment and evaluation.

• Excellent technical leadership abilities, including mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

• Capacity to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Detail-oriented with a strong dedication to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in AI and related technologies.
