Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in research and development as well as algorithmic advancement initiatives.

• Engage in the creation of innovative machine learning and computer vision algorithms for medical device products.

• Design and execute efficient experiments to evaluate algorithm performance, document findings, and aid in the identification of future algorithmic improvements.

• Refine and enhance existing models.

• Contribute to the research and development infrastructure.

• Take part in discussions aimed at problem-solving.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Engage in ongoing learning of emerging technologies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Ph.D. in a technical discipline, or a Master's degree in a technical field accompanied by 2+ years of industry experience, or 5+ years of industry experience is required.

• Proficiency with a prominent machine learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Experience in training deep learning models specifically for computer vision applications.

• Familiarity with Python or C++ programming languages.

• Knowledge in image processing technologies like OpenCV or ITK.

• Preferred: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Preferred: Experience with machine learning training platforms such as SageMaker or ZenML.

• Preferred: Strong programming capabilities.

• Preferred: Familiarity with databases.

• Preferred: Specific expertise in medical image analysis, algorithm design, segmentation, object detection, or computer vision.

• Preferred: Understanding of the medical device/software development sector.

• Interest in medical devices and the creation of products that positively affect patients.

• Excellent team collaboration skills.

• Capacity to take ownership of projects.

• Must reside in the United States.
