• Train, assess, and refine machine learning models and autonomous systems for customer feedback, including managing our bespoke fine-tuning pipelines. Conduct end-to-end experiments, meticulously track results, and provide clear recommendations on what to launch, enhance, or phase out.
• Develop and sustain LLM-driven features: retrieval pipelines, reranking systems, insight agents, data mining agents, and automated taxonomy generation.
• Create and implement robust evaluation frameworks: assemble test sets, define metrics, assess non-deterministic systems, manage class imbalance, and automate checkpoint comparisons.
• Enhance and expand semantic search and retrieval capabilities, transitioning from embedding-based strategies to more sophisticated methods.
• Write high-quality production code and collaborate closely with Engineering on productionization, model deployment, data pipelines, and monitoring processes.
• Partner with Product and Commercial teams to convert business requirements into viable ML solutions, and assist in client evaluations and accuracy assessments.
• Mentor team members, review code and research work, and integrate relevant advancements from the literature into our products.
• Profound understanding of transformer architectures.
• Strong proficiency in PyTorch, with the capability to create custom training loops, modify model architectures, and debug issues at the tensor level. Ideally, experience with parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA.
