This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Creating new embedding models or enhancing existing ones for advertising applications, which include aggregation pipelines, two-tower architectures, and sequence models.
• Collaborating with both local and third-party large language models (LLMs) and vision models (VLMs): extracting representations, developing evaluation methodologies, and performing prompt tuning and fine-tuning on large models to produce cutting-edge embeddings.
• Developing data processing and inference pipelines for the models we create.
• Conducting both qualitative and quantitative evaluations of the various features we design, engaging in end-to-end experimentation that spans from internal benchmarks to offline metrics for recommender systems and online experiments.
• Guaranteeing the reliability, scalability, and performance of machine learning systems by writing automated tests, monitoring performance, and applying best practices in model management.
• Participating in modeling and code reviews: you will review the work of fellow team members and offer constructive feedback to ensure adherence to the team's quality and performance standards.
• Working alongside cross-functional teams to grasp business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with the complete lifecycle of designing, training, evaluating, testing, and deploying models at an industry level.
• Proven experience in building natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision (CV) models and scaling their integration.
• Background in developing intricate features or embeddings for downstream models.
• Familiarity with popular deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
