Senior Linux Admin – Level 3 Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows utilizing Ansible.

• Manage and optimize systems based on Linux.

• Install, upgrade, and migrate servers across Linux, Unix, and AIX platforms.

• Create Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate infrastructure tasks.

• Integrate Ansible automation within CI/CD pipelines.

• Oversee enterprise automation environments with Ansible and Puppet.

• Administer DNS environments using Infoblox and BIND.

• Provide support for Unix/Linux server nodes in virtualized settings.

• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with Linux servers.

• Maintain thorough documentation of automation procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to security best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in RHEL 6/7/8/9.

• Significant experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Puppet.

• Exceptional time-management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and strategic decision-making abilities.

• Proficient in Unix/Linux system administration.

• Experience with DNS administration, specifically BIND and Infoblox.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts.

• Experience with NTP, NFS, SUDO, and LDAP client management.

• Proficient in SFTP setup and management.

• Skilled in scripting and automation programming.

• Experience deploying Unix/Linux systems in virtualized environments.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow environments is preferred.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with a passion for automation.

• At least 8 years of experience in Unix/Linux server administration.
