This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while effectively addressing complaints and errors.
• Cultivate strong relationships with Sales Representatives, Regional Admins, Recruiting Sales Managers, and Regional Directors.
• Receive, assess, and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Clarify contractual terms, federal laws, state regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee intricate contracting and appointment cases for producers, partner firms, and distribution entities.
• Coordinate with Distribution Leadership, Compliance, Operations, and partner firms.
• Draft, review, and interpret contracts, amendments, and addenda.
• Spearhead due diligence for new distribution partners.
• Manage producer licensing, appointments, and renewals across all states and distribution channels.
• Provide regulatory guidance to Sales Management, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Develop and sustain workflows, checklists, and quality-control processes.
• Act as the internal expert for the contracting and licensing platform.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance and data accuracy.
• Provide advice on contracting policies, SLAs, and best practices.
• Mentor and train junior staff members.
• Monitor and report on metrics such as cycle time, backlog, error rates, and compliance status.
• Assist with onboarding automation, system integrations, expansion into additional states, and new partner onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of progressive experience in contracting, licensing, or distribution operations within the life insurance or financial services sector.
• Experience supporting multi-channel environments, including career, independent, or IMO/BGA relationships.
• Proficient in interpreting state licensing regulations, appointment rules, and compliance requirements.
• Capability to enhance processes and execute workflow or system improvements.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with contracting and licensing systems such as SuranceBay, AgentSync, or Vertafore.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with a talent for influencing across teams and departments.
• High attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Successful completion of criminal background, credit, fingerprint, drug-screen, and reference checks when required.
