This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Conducting research, writing, and maintaining clear, relevant, and practical legal content that aligns with market practices, customer needs, and business objectives.
• Reviewing and refining content created by colleagues or external expert contributors.
• Staying informed on legal, practice, and market trends to ensure that content is accurate, relevant, and in line with business goals.
• Leveraging your legal expertise to aid in the creation of customer-centric AI-powered legal solutions at Thomson Reuters.
• Applying your legal knowledge and editorial skills to enhance the development and use of internal AI editorial tools.
• Ensuring a thorough understanding of the legal market, our customers' evolving needs, and competitor activities.
• Contributing to the growth of Practical Law Ireland and supporting the broader development of Practical Law.
• Utilizing your specialized legal expertise to assist the wider Thomson Reuters team, collaborating with product management, sales, marketing, and technology functions as needed.
• A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience as an employment lawyer, either in a law firm or in-house in Ireland.
• Extensive knowledge of Irish employment law.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills in English, with a strong passion for accurately and concisely conveying legal practices in plain English.
• A collaborative approach with the capability to work effectively both independently and within teams.
• Strong technical skills, with proficiency in utilizing various tools, including generative AI technologies, to boost productivity and accuracy.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work on a range of projects and tasks within the generative AI field and emerging technologies.
• A curious mindset regarding the increasing intersection of AI and legal practice, with a willingness to embrace change.
• Experience in integrating AI tools into legal work.
• Excellent understanding of online research databases.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a matrixed environment while building strong relationships and collaborating with diverse teams that offer various perspectives and experiences.
• Must be authorized to practice in Ireland, either by admission to the bar or roll.
