This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• This position offers expertise in performance and learning to both internal and external stakeholders, such as employees and volunteers.
• The role is tasked with optimizing talent through innovative, learner-focused, and impactful performance and learning solutions that are in alignment with our strategic performance goals.
• Empower employees to deliver world-class service, support, and experiences to our customers through creative learning strategies and curricula.
• Collaborate with team members and business project leaders to assess performance needs and provide strategic recommendations for performance and learning.
• Foster and establish immersive learning experiences to enhance performance, which may include role-specific learner personas and learning journeys.
• Utilize knowledge and skills in consulting, instructional design, development processes, tools, strategies, delivery, and evaluation methods to ensure top-tier service and performance.
• Create and develop various learning solutions using a range of development tools that showcase best practices in instructional design.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of development initiatives and suggest enhancements.
• Offer train-the-trainer services to facilitate the development of support subject matter expert (SME) facilitators.
• Stay updated on learning theories, instructional design, delivery methods, and best practices associated with performance and learning, sharing insights with the team.
• Act as a customer-facing contact for new training requests and ongoing LMS support requirements.
• Conduct analyses of learning and development needs.
• Create and configure courses and offerings within the LMS, including uploading and maintaining content in various formats (SCORM, video, and documents).
• Develop and manage assignments, including automated assignment rules, to ensure timely delivery of learning to the intended audiences.
• Oversee learner groups, special access permissions, and external user accounts.
• Keep learner records up to date with appropriate documentation, including exemptions, exceptions, and manual completions.
• Comprehend current and future capability requirements.
• Coordinate SME reviews to guarantee content accuracy and relevance.
• Archive and retire outdated content to sustain a current and high-quality course catalog.
• Provide support and enable L&D specialists across the organization in utilizing the LMS.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in learning and development.
• Proven track record and experience in instructional design, outcome-based program design, innovative classroom design, complex multimedia-rich e-learning experiences, hands-on digital and experience design, and/or instructional technology.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with SME facilitators to create materials and provide facilitation coaching in a fast-paced, high-change work environment.
