Senior Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack - Shopping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse range of technology projects while managing a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full-stack systems, aiming to create solutions that fulfill the company's regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrate your enthusiasm for keeping abreast of technological advancements, trying out and mastering new technologies, engaging in both internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineering members, and occasionally contributing to coding or code evaluations.

• Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that provide impactful experiences, empowering millions of Americans in their financial journeys.

• Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as a variety of AWS tools and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience is not counted).

• At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

• Master’s Degree is preferred.

• 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go is preferred.

• 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service is preferred.

• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks is preferred.

• 1+ years of experience in people management is preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices is preferred.
