Senior Lead Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Support and contribute to the following Rebound capabilities and key outcomes: Protected Backups: KR3: Assess end-user protected backup solutions

• KR4: Execute end user backup scanning

• Rebuild and Recover: KR5: Conduct end user (200) tests

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience

• Experience in the Financial Industry

• At least 5 years of practical experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms

• In-depth knowledge of Dell EMC Networker and Avamar

• Proficiency in Scripting & Automation

• Strong background in Python scripting

• Demonstrated ability to create production-ready, well-documented, and maintainable automation

• Experience with virtualization, particularly VMware vSphere

• Practical experience in automating VM-level recovery processes

• Working knowledge of cloud (AWS) services like EC2, EBS, and FSx

• Familiarity with AWS CLI, SDKs, Terraform, and associated automation tools for cloud recovery tasks

• Previous experience with NAS environments and NDMP-based volume restores (strongly preferred)

• Understanding of NetApp filer architecture and its connection to NAS/NDMP recovery workflows (desirable)

• Ability to function effectively in isolated or air-gapped environments

• Comfortable using standalone toolsets
