Senior Lead Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist and support the following Rebound capabilities and key objectives: Protected Backups: KR3: Assess end-user protected backup solutions

• KR4: Execute end-user backup scanning

• Rebuild and Recover: KR5: Conduct end-user (200) tests

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience

• Experience in the Financial Industry

• At least 5 years of direct involvement with enterprise backup and recovery platforms

• Extensive knowledge of Dell EMC Networker and Avamar

• Proficiency in Scripting & Automation

• Strong background in Python scripting

• Demonstrated ability to create automation that is production-ready, well-documented, and sustainable

• Experience with Virtualization using VMware vSphere

• Practical experience in automating VM-level recovery operations

• Cloud (AWS) familiarity with EC2, EBS, and FSx

• Experience with AWS CLI, SDKs, Terraform, and other automation tools for cloud recovery processes

• NAS & Storage Prior experience with NAS environments and NDMP-based volume restores (strongly preferred)

• Understanding of NetApp filer architecture and its connection to NAS/NDMP recovery processes (nice to have)

• Capability to work effectively within isolated or air-gapped environments

• Comfortable utilizing standalone toolsets
