Senior Java / Fullstack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Development of a new ticketing platform for the PLG Group, currently implemented in Poland and prepared for expansion into several countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

• Active participation in the design and development of a new system architecture for the entire group based on Kubernetes, GCP, Kafka, Event Sourcing, CQRS, and high transaction guarantees.

• Collaboration in an international environment with teams from Estonia, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

• Experimentation with agents and AI pipelines.

• Maintaining high code quality, regardless of whether it originates from a developer or an AI agent.

• Participation in on-call duties - rotation within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Java Developer in commercial projects.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring (Boot + MVC + Data).

• Excellent knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.

• Strong understanding of building integration APIs.

• Excellent knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and transactional processing.

• Good familiarity with Kubernetes + Docker.

• Good knowledge of Kafka or other service communication solutions, as well as design patterns.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with Angular or React experience being a plus.

• Familiarity with GCP is advantageous.

• Experience with AI agents to support work is a plus.

• Proficiency in English sufficient for reading documentation and writing code comfortably.
