Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices that are highly available, scalable, and reliable, utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Play a key role in the modernization and advancement of the client's SaaS platform, leveraging cloud technologies and emerging AI innovations.

• Integrate AI-driven workflows and support the implementation of agentic AI architectures or LLM-based functionalities as needed.

• Utilize expertise in cloud architecture, distributed systems, event-driven design, and messaging platforms such as Kafka and Pub/Sub.

• Collaborate closely with product, QA, DevOps, and PM teams to introduce new features, ensure system reliability, and enhance platform performance.

• Rapidly adapt to new AI technologies, understanding their integration potential within enterprise systems.

• Work as part of a high-performing team, taking ownership of assignments and delivering results with accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of Java development experience, with significant proficiency in Spring Boot.

• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also acceptable).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering systems that are highly available and scalable.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience in event-driven systems and messaging platforms (Kafka, Pub/Sub).

• Knowledge of LLMs and agentic AI architectures (such as intentless AI and react agents).

• Strong comprehension of distributed systems, cloud design principles, networking, load balancing, event processing, and security.

• Nice to Have: Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or similar).

• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-driven workflows.

• Familiarity with real-time communication APIs (voice or chat).

• Practical experience with GCP AI services (Vertex AI, Dialogflow) or their equivalents.
