This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Act as the main technical contact for designated Workday functional areas.
• Oversee the semi-annual Workday release management across all HR functional areas, including regression testing and the adoption of enhancements.
• Execute system configuration and maintenance in accordance with established requirements and evolving business demands.
• Offer support for functional area systems to pinpoint and resolve tenant configuration, business process, and/or integration challenges while recommending and implementing process improvements.
• Maintain data integrity through comprehensive analysis and a solid understanding of the deployed processes.
• Evaluate business procedures and workflows to ensure complete utilization of system features, and identify Workday functionalities that could enhance efficiency.
• Provide cross-training and function as a backup for other Workday modules.
• Conduct mass data loads in Workday as needed (EIBs).
• Generate ad hoc and standardized reports and analyses upon stakeholder request utilizing Workday reporting capabilities.
• Serve as the intermediary between HR and IT departments to ensure effective and efficient project outcomes.
• Function as the project manager for Workday HR and IT initiatives, including acquisition activities.
• 4-5 years of experience with HR-related systems.
• 3-5 years of experience with Workday tenants is essential.
• Strong communication skills with vendors and HR and IT team members.
• Capability to take ownership of the design and configuration of multiple modules in Workday.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, initiatives, and requests concurrently.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, macros, etc.).
