This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead a team in the design, development, maintenance, testing, and debugging of software.
• Define and articulate system scope and objectives for assigned projects.
• Supervise the development of system specifications through collaboration with business users and stakeholders.
• Evaluate project feasibility and analyze the impact of new programs on existing system operations.
• Forecast software and hardware requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Sedgwick's software development lifecycle protocols.
• Direct software development, modifications, and maintenance to fulfill company objectives and user feedback.
• Create program documentation, administrator manuals, and end-user assistance materials.
• Manage analyst/programmers by assigning, prioritizing, and overseeing workloads.
• Offer guidance and training to the team.
• Prepare status reports for the department manager.
• Ensure successful project delivery in line with project goals and requirements.
• Foster cooperative relationships within the project team and remain accessible to team members.
• Stay updated with technological advancements and trends.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• A major in Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred.
• A minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
• At least five (5) years of experience in program development.
• Three (3) years of specialized programming experience related to program requirements.
• Familiarity with claims management applications is preferred.
• Understanding of claims management systems.
• Knowledge of application systems analysis and programming.

• Proven leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office products.

• Credit security clearance verified through a background credit check is required.
• Capability to perform computer keyboarding and meet hearing, vision, speaking, judgment, discretion, conceptual-thinking, and deadline requirements.
