Senior IT Security Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain IT security measures and comprehensive security concepts.

• Conduct risk assessments, identify protection requirements, and establish suitable measures.

• Provide coaching and technical assistance in the creation, maintenance, and advancement of IT security policies and concepts.

• Offer guidance to technical product owners and IT security officers, especially regarding the use of the ISMS tool.

• Align and integrate new IT-Grundschutz and BSI standards into existing security frameworks.

• Carry out internal audits in accordance with guidelines and assist in IT security inquiries.

• Develop, review, and maintain all relevant security documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or vocational training in an IT-related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of pertinent professional experience in IT security or information security.

• Strong background in information security processes, risk management, and business continuity management.

• Excellent knowledge of creating, implementing, and assessing IT security policies and frameworks.

• Experience in evaluating high-availability systems and deriving actions from both basic checks and comprehensive risk assessments.

• In-depth understanding of BSI standards (200-1, 200-2, 200-3, 100-4) and the IT-Grundschutz compendium.

• Structured and independent work style, confident demeanor, and outstanding proficiency in the German language.
