Senior IP Analyst, Physics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute thorough prior art investigations (novelty, patentability, validity, and state-of-the-art) and freedom-to-operate (FTO) assessments.

• Formulate and apply sophisticated search methodologies customized to meet client needs.

• Examine and interpret patent documents, technical publications, and search outcomes to guarantee precision and thoroughness.

• Generate comprehensive, client-ready reports that encapsulate findings and deliver actionable recommendations.

• Conduct technical (Checker 1) and administrative (Checker 2) reviews adhering to ISO 9001 standards.

• Perform patent landscape evaluations to analyze competitive and technological contexts, as necessary.

• Work in conjunction with junior analysts and offer mentorship to ensure the prompt and precise completion of projects.

• Significant experience in patent research, including prior art and freedom-to-operate searches.

• Strong proficiency in Boolean search techniques and utilization of global patent databases.

• Robust technical foundation in engineering, science, or related fields.

• Proven experience in crafting detailed patent search and analysis reports.

• Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 procedures and quality benchmarks.

• Excellent analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively and share knowledge effectively within a team setting.
