Senior IP Analyst, Chemistry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough prior art searches (novelty, patentability, validity, and state-of-the-art) as well as FTO analyses.

• Create and execute sophisticated search strategies customized to meet client needs.

• Review and evaluate patent documents, technical literature, and search results to verify accuracy and completeness.

• Draft comprehensive, client-ready reports that summarize findings and offer actionable insights.

• Conduct technical (Checker 1) and administrative (Checker 2) assessments in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

• Execute patent landscape analyses to evaluate competitive and technological environments when relevant.

• Work collaboratively with junior analysts, providing guidance to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.

• Significant experience in patent research, including prior art and FTO searches.

• Strong proficiency in Boolean search strategies and the utilization of global patent databases.

• Solid technical foundation in engineering, science, or related fields.

• Proven experience in producing detailed patent search and analysis reports.

• Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 processes and quality standards.

• Excellent analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to collaborate effectively and disseminate knowledge within a team environment.
