Senior iOS Engineer, B2C, Large-scale Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deliver iOS features, experiments, and products aimed at millions of users to facilitate our global expansion.

• Communicate effectively both within the team and across various disciplines. Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to create engaging user experiences.

• Make significant contributions to our team’s strategy. We provide everyone with a voice and encourage active involvement in planning our future. Don’t just be a passive participant.

• Engage in product reviews and team meetings, offering technical insights. Assist in scoping, estimating, and prioritizing amidst competing demands.

• Contribute throughout the entire development cycle: from technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, to launch. You will be reviewing code and design documents, and providing feedback on product specifications and mockups.

• Collaborate with a team of thoughtful, agile, and motivated engineers. Contribute to standards that enhance developer workflows, suggest best practices, and mentor engineers to advance their technical skills.

• Commit to continuous learning and enhancement of both technical and non-technical skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on professional software development experience in building user-facing iOS native applications at scale using Swift.

• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.

• Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including unit/integration/end-to-end testing, design documentation, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain project timelines.

• Excellent communication abilities. You effectively collaborate with teams in a fully remote setting and discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field of study, or equivalent practical, professional, hands-on experience.

• A passion for creating new things and the ability to thrive in uncertain situations, including the possibility of failure. You value innovation.

• Additional knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP fundamentals, and the capability to design maintainable APIs is a plus.
