Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Play a crucial role in developing and improving the core application experience on the iOS platform.

• Enhance existing applications to guarantee we provide the best experience in the market.

• Establish technical direction and promote engineering best practices across various teams or a business unit.

• Lead by example in maintaining coding styles and standards.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to introduce new and exciting products and features.

• Encourage knowledge sharing through code reviews, design documents, technical talks, and more.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in iOS development.

• Strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

• Experience in creating SDKs that are scalable, user-friendly, and high-performing for third-party developers.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

• Experience in telematics is advantageous.

• Familiarity with the insurance or finance sectors is beneficial, though not required.

• A genuine interest in how insurance can improve customer lives and foster meaningful employment.
