Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS SDK utilizing Swift, focusing on high performance, security, and user experience.

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

• Tackling challenges related to performance and compatibility across a diverse range of devices and network conditions.

• Implementing and enhancing testing strategies, which include unit, integration, and performance testing.

• Engaging in code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and mentoring fellow engineers.

• Identifying and promoting new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance development efficiency and product quality.

• Proactively spotting bottlenecks and troubleshooting issues to ensure reliability and stability.

• Contributing to the technical vision of the iOS SDK and assisting in shaping the future of Veriff’s mobile offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior iOS Engineer with a solid history of developing high-quality iOS applications or SDKs.

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS frameworks such as Cocoa Touch and UIKit.

• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable, testable codebases and APIs.

• Robust understanding of mobile architecture patterns and industry best practices.

• Experience in working with RESTful APIs and incorporating them into mobile applications.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools (e.g., unit, integration, performance testing, Fastlane).

• Strong problem-solving abilities, an ownership mentality, and a knack for driving complex initiatives.

• Outstanding communication skills and capacity for collaboration across teams.
