Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Create dependable, fast, and secure iOS applications that empower European businesses to manage their finances confidently.

• Take ownership of features from start to finish: Oversee everything from discovery and technical design to implementation, rollout, and iteration — delivering experiences that enable customers to make payments, receive payments, and maintain control over their finances.

• Influence technical choices within your team: Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend to define solutions by clarifying trade-offs (UX, performance, security, time-to-market) — rather than merely executing tasks.

• Enhance app reliability and maintainability: Refine architecture, performance, and testing strategies to ensure scalability without sacrificing stability.

• Tackle intricate mobile challenges: Play a role in real-time synchronization, resilience patterns, and seamless navigation flows within a large, modular codebase.

• Foster the growth of the team: Lead by example in code reviews and technical discussions, share best practices, and mentor colleagues to boost team velocity and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive iOS experience: You have successfully launched and maintained production features using Swift, and you are adept at making technical decisions from start to finish.

• Commitment to quality: You prioritize testing (XCTest, snapshot testing), clean code, and pragmatic standards that enable teams to operate efficiently.

• Strong problem-solving skills: You excel in ambiguous situations and transform complex constraints into straightforward, robust solutions.

• Proficient in AI-driven workflows: You regularly utilize AI coding tools to enhance your productivity — going beyond mere experimentation.

• Naturally collaborative: You communicate fluently in English, effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to the team through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
