Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a user-centered **Senior iOS Engineer** to become a part of our engineering team.

• You will be instrumental in developing Plum on iOS from its inception, providing our existing and potential customers with a more personal way to manage their finances.

• We appreciate strong engineering principles, creativity, uniqueness, and a healthy sense of curiosity.

• We adopt a cautious approach to utilizing external frameworks and aim to produce straightforward, well-tested code, released through rapid iterations.

• Additionally, you will be a member of a Mobile engineering team, which comprises Mobile Product Engineers who share the same vision and enthusiasm for creating an outstanding mobile team that empowers individuals to improve their financial well-being.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a solid understanding of the iOS SDK and its frameworks.

• You are proficient in Swift and keep abreast of the latest developments.

• You have expertise in writing robust, testable code and a thorough understanding of the testing pyramid.

• You have significant experience in deploying and iterating apps in the App Store.

• You confidently take ownership and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow engineers.

• You have mentored junior engineers, assisting them in skill enhancement and professional growth.

• You are also a product-oriented individual — you recognize the value and influence of your contributions.

• You go above and beyond to add that special touch of excellence.

• Experience in setting up continuous integration and automation.

• Participation in open-source projects.

• Familiarity with backend technologies.

• Experience with The Composable Architecture and SwiftUI.

• Knowledge of Combine and async/await.

• Proficiency in end-to-end testing.
