Senior iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance native iOS applications for essential business processes.

• Design and improve mobile architecture with an emphasis on MVVM and scalable code structure.

• Connect applications with backend APIs and services, including BFFs and API Gateway.

• Ensure optimal performance, stability, security, and code quality.

• Investigate and resolve intricate issues, including those in production environments.

• Lead refactoring efforts focused on scalability and long-term maintainability.

• Implement software engineering best practices (SOLID, clean code) in everyday tasks.

• Engage actively in code reviews and technical decision-making processes.

• Collaborate closely with backend, product, design, and QA teams.

• Function effectively in high-volume environments and mission-critical applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in native iOS development using Swift.

• Proficient in UIKit and/or SwiftUI.

• Significant experience with MVVM architecture.

• Application of SOLID principles and effective software design methodologies.

• Experience with automated testing, including unit and UI tests.

• Comprehensive understanding of mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, VIPER, or similar).

• Proven experience in consuming and integrating REST APIs, including API Gateway and BFF.

• Knowledge of state management and lifecycle handling for iOS applications.

• Familiarity with memory management (ARC) and performance enhancement techniques.

• Experience with local persistence methods (Core Data, UserDefaults, or equivalent).

• Skills in data modeling and serialization (Codable).

• Proficient in Git version control within collaborative settings (PRs, code review).

• Understanding of error handling, fallbacks, and client-side resilience strategies.

• Adherence to best practices for code quality, organization, and modularization.
