This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, develop, oversee, and maintain intricate EDI, APIM, and integration solutions, including translation maps, application programs, batch scripts, APIs, and integration points.
• Lead the configuration, mapping, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise-scale integrations.
• Act as a design authority, guiding integration architecture choices and ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Facilitate and engage in design and code reviews, upholding standards, best practices, and change management processes.
• Manage the health, performance, and stability of designated EDI and integration domains.
• Spearhead the troubleshooting of high-severity and systemic production issues, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Proactively oversee integration flows to guarantee timely and precise data transmission.
• Identify potential risks and implement enhancements to boost resilience, efficiency, and observability.
• Coordinate efforts across application, infrastructure, security, and external partners.
• Ensure that deliverables align with quality standards, timelines, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze end-to-end workflow processes, pinpointing opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Convert complex business requirements into technical integration designs with minimal rework.
• Document and maintain current and future process models, data flows, and integration dependencies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT teams regarding integration strategy and capabilities.
• Establish, enhance, and enforce integration standards, documentation, and controls.
• Lead or assist in defining security, audit, and compliance practices related to EDI and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise change management, incident management, and security policies.
• Contribute to the long-term integration roadmap and technological advancements.
• Mentor Associate and Integration Specialists, offering technical guidance and best practices.
• Develop and sustain integration documentation and training resources.
• Elevate overall team maturity through knowledge sharing, process enhancements, and coaching.
• 5+ years of experience in EDI and/or enterprise integrations.
• Strong hands-on experience with integration platforms (e.g., Axway B2Bi and APIM, Boomi, or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of EDI standards and file types (X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, flat files).
• Experience with common EDI documents (810, 850, 856; additional documents are a plus).
• Proficient in programming and scripting (Java, Python, shell scripting, or similar).
• Familiarity with multiple communication protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2, APIs, web services).
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable and reliable integration solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
