Senior Insurance Authorization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Insurance Authorization Specialist I and Insurance Verification Specialists I

• Conduct insurance authorization and verification for all patients scheduled for services

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Aid in mentoring and training new team members

• Serve as the assigned subject matter expert to address inquiries

• Identify the necessary clinical records and submit authorization requests to the insurance provider

• Act as the liaison between the ordering physician and the insurance company

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a related position

• Must possess a curious mindset and show a willingness to embrace innovation, including AI

• Preferred experience with authorization or revenue cycle processes for physician-administered medications, injections, infusions, or genetic testing

• High School Diploma/GED is required

• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) must be obtained within 9 months of hire
