This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of intricate insider threat investigations from start to finish, including triage, evidence collection, employee interviews, and stakeholder coordination, producing clear findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Spearhead detection and analysis initiatives by prioritizing alert reviews across insider threat technologies (SIEM, UBA, DLP, endpoint detection), correlating signals, and recognizing patterns that inform wider mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate across Security, Legal, HR, and business teams to design, implement, and enhance processes that systematically decrease insider risk and address recurring control gaps on a large scale.
• Enhance the team’s investigative and analytical skills by refining alerting logic, developing scalable detection improvements, and mentoring junior analysts on best practices, evidence handling, and communication with stakeholders.
• Improve reporting and stakeholder communication by creating decision-ready briefs and assessments for senior leadership, translating complex investigative findings into succinct narratives with clear risk context and suggested next steps.
• Over 5 years of experience in insider threat, security investigations, counterintelligence, fraud detection, or a closely related field.
• Profound hands-on expertise in insider threat technologies (SIEM, UBA, DLP, endpoint detection) and log analysis.
• Proven history of independently managing complex, sensitive investigations involving employee matters, including evidence collection, interviewing techniques, and coordination with Legal, HR, and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to identify systemic control weaknesses and drive large-scale improvements in insider threat detection and response processes, including refining alerting logic and recommending automation opportunities.
• Established experience in composing investigative briefs, risk assessments, and analytical products for senior leadership, with an ability to convert complex technical and behavioral findings into concise, decision-ready narratives.
• Familiarity with the legal, regulatory, and ethical frameworks governing insider threat programs, with experience exercising sound judgment when handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Responsibly utilizes generative AI, ensuring human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and enhance measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
