This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Identify, design, and implement initiatives that enhance outcomes for smallholder farmers and their communities.

• Conduct research, analyze, and evaluate the potential of solutions addressing sustainability challenges.

• Evaluate and develop candidate interventions and concepts in areas such as precision agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, carbon sequestration, microfinance, and more.

• Lead the design, initiation, and oversight of programs — including piloting, partnering, monitoring, evaluating, and scaling effective solutions.

• Spend considerable time in origin, engaging with smallholder communities throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, or Asia.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-6 years of professional experience.

• A minimum of 2 years in a high-paced environment: strategy consulting, finance/private equity, a venture capital-backed startup, or similar sectors.

• A university degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (preferred).

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities; experience with large datasets; some understanding of basic statistics and the scientific method; proficiency in R and Python.

• Ability to structure complex problems and communicate them clearly and concisely.
