Senior Healthcare Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Oversee analytics and machine learning initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring analytical integrity and generating actionable outcomes to identify and prevent FWA.

• Mentor junior team members in completing technical tasks while remaining actively involved in analyzing claims data and performing advanced statistical analyses as necessary.

• Utilize predictive modeling to enhance and optimize efficiencies, process improvements, and various business results.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to provide quality, actionable insights.

• Convey complex analytics and findings in an understandable way to diverse audiences (both technical and non-technical) as well as different leadership levels.

• Discover opportunities to leverage Medicare and Medicaid data to develop insightful FWA solutions.

• Promote and assist in the implementation of best practices in data management and analytics to foster continuous improvement.

• Communicate effectively with team members while working remotely.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree with an analytical or technical emphasis (e.g., Statistics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics) or a related field.

• At least 5+ years of Medicaid experience, with a focus on conducting advanced analyses using healthcare claims data for fraud detection purposes.

• Capability to understand, simplify, and explain data in business terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in SQL and Python, with knowledge of R or Python for data science, including machine learning.

• Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
